„Humans are very social animals“ (Uncle Kage- Dr. Samuel Conway- amerikanischer Forscher auf dem Gebiet der Pharmazie, Biomedizin und Agrochemie der organischen Chemie und Chairman der Anthrocon Pittsburg Pennsylvania)
Wer sind wir und wie viele können wir sein? Wo fängt die Phantasie an und wo beginnt das Leben eines erwachsenen Menschen? Können wir unsere kindliche Phantasie ins Erwachsenenleben hinüberretten, ohne albern zu wirken? Was treibt Menschen dazu, eine neue Identität leben zu wollen und wird es gelingen, damit glücklicher zu sein?
Unser Filmprojekt beschäftigt sich mit dem Furry Fandom, einer internationalen Community, die sich für antropomorphe Charaktere interessieren, mit den Beweggründen der Mitgliedschaft, der gegenseitigen Akzeptanz, dem Zauber der Phantasie und der Freude am Leben .
Das Filmprojekt wird von der Film- und Medienstiftung NRW gefördert.
Ich freue mich nun auf dieses neue Jahr 2020 und eine Zeit, die die Buntheit des Lebens in filmische Geschichten verwandeln und Brücken zwischen den Menschen bauen möge…
Denn nur wer die anderen Welten kennt, kann offen und tolerant sein und nur wer tolerant ist, schafft Frieden!

Who are we and how many can we be? Where does the imagination begin and where does the life of an adult start? Can we save our childish imagination into adult life without looking silly? What drives people to want to live a new identity and will they be happier with it?
Our film project deals with the Furry Fandom, an international community interested in anthropomorphic characters, the motivations for membership, mutual acceptance, the magic of imagination and the joy of life.
The film project is funded by the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW.
I am now looking forward to this new year 2020 and a time that may transform the colorfulness of life into cinematic stories and build bridges between people …
Because only those who know the other worlds can be open and tolerant and only those who are tolerant can create peace!
